Compact Class J Fuses

INDUSTRY NEWS

Small footprint with maximum protection.

The Littelfuse UL Class J fuses are critical for places where space is at a premium and maximum protection is imperative. Available up to 600 A, they provide the protection of a Class RK1 fuse in a smaller footprint. With a reliable overcurrent interruption of up to 200 kA, Class J fuses can be used for a wider range of HVAC/R applications, reducing inventory requirements.

UL Class J Time-Delay Fuses with Indicatio

The Littelfuse® POWR-PRO® JTD_ID Indicator Class J fuse provides visual blown fuse indication and maximum protection in a compact package. The compact Class J package was designed specifically for circuits where space is at a premium. The current limiting time delay JTD_ID offers a patented true dual-element design that is ideal for use in circuits with high inrush currents. Superior performance characteristics of JTD_ID Indicator fuses reduce nuisance fuse opening and the blown fuse indication reduces downtime and increases safety.

The JLS Fast-Acting Fuses:

JLS series fuses provide space-saving, fast-acting overload, and short-circuit protection for non-inductive loads. When used for motors or other inductive loads, the ampere rating of JLS series fuses must be increased to prevent nuisance opening on inrush currents. In such applications, JLS fuses may provide only short circuit protection. Consider using Littelfuse POWR-PRO™ JTD series time-delay fuses in such circuits.
