Mineral insulated (M.I.) cable consists of one or two heating elements encapsulated in highly compressed magnesium oxide for use in heavy industrial environments. Precision laser welding, an over-sheath and alloy 825 terminations, ensure exceptional resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. This confection enables it to operate safely in Class I, Division 1 environments.
